Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy was born in 1962. She is a well-known American actress. In 1983, following her first movie Bad Boys starring as a Brat Pack part of WarGames '83 and The Breakfast Club '85 she was known for being a part of this group. The performance of Sheedy in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actress. Ally Sheedy has been an American actor and author for over 20 years. Her career in film began in the her early 80s when she was featured in the crime drama film, Bad Boys. Rick Rosenthal's film also starred Sean Penn and Esai Morales Clancy Brown & Alan Ruck. Her first success led her to be a part of The Breakfast Club, a 1985 comedy-drama. John Hughes directed one of best films aimed at high schools. Although it was a budget of only 1 million dollars, the film's profits exceeded $50 million. While she was doing this her first appearance on television took place on CBS Schoolbreak. In April of 1980, the show began to air. The show was designed for teens. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid, Hill Street Blues and Chicago Story are some of the other shows in which she has appeared. Recent appearances by Sheedy are Little Sister as well as X-Men Apocalypse, a movie featuring a hero in which she is a character. Sheedy has been praised for her outstanding performances. has received numerous awards, one of which was an MTV Movie Award for Silver Bucket of Excellence Award in 2005.
